Procedure:
Analyse: Song + fill in gaps.
The teacher presents the song (“The Bones´
Song”) and the pupils listen to the song with their eyes closed. Then, they are
provided with the lyrics of the song and have to fill in the gaps individually
while they listen to the song for the second time. Then, they will check the
lyrics within their group of five.
Worksheets 1.1.
Add: create a new stanza
Following the song´s pattern, they have to
invent a new stanza in groups of five and sing it aloud. Students have to bear
in mind that rhythm is necessary when writing verses.
Apply: create a skeleton.
In groups of five they have to create their
own skeleton using the pieces of the jigsaw provided. These pieces have to be
glued in a poster which will also be used for the P.E session that will be
developed afterwards.
