Students learn a traditional clapping song
called “Double this, double that” through this video in youtube: “How to play
the double double clapping game” (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gWXNbIeftRk).
The lyrics of the
song are the following:

that”.

In pairs, students have to think of where the
bones and joints of their hand are and reflect on how these are articulated. Then,
using a paint hands they have to trace the bones and joints in their classmate´s hand. Finally, the pairs
will show their outcome to the rest of the class using mingle.
Apply: to create an articulated hand.
Students will be
given some materials (cardboard, straws, wool or string, scissors, glue,
pencil, ruler, rubber) to create their
own articulated hand. They will have to find out in groups of five how it is
going to work.
