Procedure:
Analyse (brainstorming using wordle):
In groups of five,
students have to remember the previous kowledge about the locomotor system and write
their ideas down on a piece of paper. After that, they share their ideas in
turns with the rest of the class passing by a small ball. Then, the teacher
types them on an ICT tool called Word Cloud. Finally, the class will see the
final output on the whiteboard.
Worksheet 3.1.
Add (mind map):
In groups of five
and bearing in mind the brainstorming previously done, students have to
organise and classify the information reviewed to design a mind map. The
teacher will provide some support and guide students´ outcome.
Worksheet 3.2.
Apply (fat
questions about human body facts):
Keeping the same
groups, students will receive a card with a human body fact on it and they have
to think of a question based on that statement. Then, they have to mingle
around the class while asking their question and providing the correct answer.
It would be quite helpful to hang on the wall a poster with useful classroom
language and/or visual aids to help them communicate when they have no clue.
Worksheet 3.3.
